2003 Shiraz

This estate grown wine made from 100% Shiraz grapes exhibits a rich plum and licorice nose with pepper and vanillin overtones leading into an intense palate of spice, plum and soft dark fruits. This deeply flavoured wine with balanced acidity and finely grained tannins can be enjoyed now or extensively cellared.
Food matching: butterflied chargrilled lamb, aromatic Indian dishes, veal, roast duck with cherry sauce, porterhouse steak with pepper sauce, blackened salmon steaks, barbequed marinated chicken, mature cheeses, rich pâté.

2003 Cabernet Sauvignon

Made from 100% estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine has a deep tightly grained soft tannic nose with lifted cassis and blackberry scents. The palate is rich with spice, mulberry and other soft dark fruits, with a superbly balanced integration of tannins and acidity in keeping with the pronounced sweet fruit flavours and tightly grained French oak.
Food matching: mature farmhouse cheeses, spicy barbequed chicken, roast lamb with thyme and garlic, roast goose, Foie Gras, roast duck, marinated venison, medium rare steak.

2003 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

Made from 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine exhibits soft dark fruits with spice, mint and toasty new American/French oak aromas. The palate is rich with sweet fruit and finely grained soft tannins. A powerful wine of great length and balance with a superb mid palate weight.
Food matching: aromatic Thai red curry, pheasant, quail, Osso Bucco, Beef Bourguignonne, grilled seafood with chilli, roast lamb with garlic and rosemary, roast Pork, pasta with olive oil and herbs, ham and cured meats.

2005 Verdelho

This wine is made from 100% estate grown Verdelho grapes. Exhibiting a lifted perfume with aromas of banana, pear, apricot and passionfruit, this complex unoaked wine can be enjoyed now or cellared up to five years.
Food matching: spicy Asian and Indian dishes, sushi and sashimi, grilled or smoked salmon, wok fried seafood with ginger and lemongrass, fruity pork dishes, asparagus, goats cheese and barbequed seafood.

Allegria Shiraz Frizzante
Gentle Annie has created a sweet style of wine from it’s ultra-premium Shiraz grapes. This wine is vibrant plum in colour and the nose has fresh, lifted aromas of ripe raspberries and jubes. The palate boasts flavours of ripe berries and the natural grape sweetness is balanced by the subtle ‘spritz’ which provides a refreshing and vibrant finish. The wine should be served chilled and is for drinking now. Food matching: perfect with summer barbeques of seafood, grilled meats and zesty salads. Drink with spicy Asian and Indian dishes, Christmas day lunch, chocolate deserts or as a refreshing aperitif and party sipper.
